How we make money

Business Cash Guide is free to use. Here’s exactly how we’re paid, who sees your information, and what our content is and isn’t.

Last updated October 23, 2026

The short version

  • You never pay us anything.
  • If you submit a funding request, it’s shared with 1West, our funding marketplace partner.
  • If a deal funds, 1West may compensate us. That’s how we keep the guides and tools free.
  • We’re a loan-matching service, not a lender, and we don’t sell your personal information.

Who we work with

When you complete our funding request, we share the details you provide with 1West, a funding marketplace that works with a network of funding providers. 1West or a provider in its network may contact you about options you may qualify for. Their own terms and privacy policies govern how they use your information after that point.

We don’t send your request to an open pool of brokers, and we don’t sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How compensation affects what you see

We don’t set rates, fees or terms. Those come from the funding provider and depend on its underwriting, so always compare the full cost of any offer before you accept it.

Our articles and guides contain no affiliate links or paid placements. When we mention a type of funding, we explain both where it fits and what it costs, including options like SBA loans that can take weeks and products like merchant cash advances that can be expensive. See our editorial standards.

Disclaimer

Business Cash Guide is a loan-matching service, not a lender. We do not make credit decisions, fund loans, or guarantee approval, rates, amounts or timing. Every funding decision is made by the provider, based on its own criteria and your business profile.

Rates, amounts and timelines on this site are typical industry ranges drawn from public sources and dated where we publish them. They are not offers and may not reflect what you’re offered. Requesting options doesn’t by itself affect your credit; a provider that needs to review your credit will typically ask your permission first.
